Do you yawn and get sleepy-eyes when you hear the gospel…?

Sometime in our christian walk we begin to take the gospel for granted. Like it is not like before, christ Hellelujah! Blah. Can anyone confess to that? That the message has become old news and not the good news. We go to church, hear a message, yawn! and hear some more message, yawn! and understanding about God well its’ boring to say the least. We rather talk about something else. We turn to Proverbs 24,

["...1Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

2For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

3Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

4And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

5A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

6For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

7Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

8He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

9The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

10If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

   11If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

12If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?..."]

This chapter to line 12 says a keleidescope of things. Line 10, If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strenght is small. I thought we could do all thing through Christ who strengthens us? Line 11, If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death and those who that are ready to be slain. Does the cause of the needy ever reach our heart and attention? God says in line 9, The thought of foolishness is sin but a scorner, one who is to bored to care, is an abomination to men and God.

God say is in Matthew 25,

["... 14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents..."]

Are you hiding Gods talent in hole because I really do not see the use of speaking out for Christ or doing his commands or I am just to tired of this Christ hoopla! We earnesly need to fast and pray that this phenomenon is not happening to us. We don’t want to be in that lot. Christ may appear any moment and 1/3 of humanity has never heard of Christ of the bible. I hope I’m not wasting my words in what I’m saying. May you be blessed. Amen.

Perhaps we been sluggish in walk with Christ. The scenery of the world is quickly changing. We play with a whole new set of rules. After listening and listening to sermon after sermon, we look at our

watch for ten times during the sermon. Have we become dull hearted? Are we really looking at ourselves like we should? Pray for me and for you that we don’t fall to the wayside and off the race. I hope

you have a pleasant evening and new morning. Amen.

After we blogged on pandemia and the ourbreak of civil disobedience and massaquers in say Mexico, I made a new friend who I think God wanted her to pray for me for a new line of blogs. I did not know what it was then, but it has become clearer now on what the Lord wants to tell our youth and society in general. It seems there’s a new world order of discontent and ungrateful children and youth and society in general. A new line of unthankful subjects inhabit our world who do not please God.

Like I said this new freind had to be youth to pray for her comtemporaries. And I did not expect this result. And this new brand of youth is unthankful, rebellious, insolent and a plain monster. The gosple makes him and her yawn and scoff as being boring. But the gracious God is ready to act and bring the closure. God loves the children and unrespectable children is total abomination to God. And we are seeing the fruits, kingdom rises agains kingdom, christians agaist non christians, youth against adults and so on, and now the pandemia.

The real treat for a global epidemic with no clue to what to do about it. Our bow and arrow don’t work against this new monster who treatens to close schools, hospitals, airports and all public places. Perhaps this will all pass by like a bad dream in the night. Oh how I fear that it does pass away! But this new genre of unthankful little subjects has not hope of passing away. The drunkeness of teens is rampant and so is promiscuity. But the bible says that folly and error God will look over but an arrogant demeanor is not passing for God.

Since the adult world has been able to put a leash on this matter. God wants to take cards in the matter and perhaps start to bring in the anti-christ and or the false prophet to count-down the end of the world for this age. Perhaps I have flipped and totally out of the ball park. But is not the famine of the word in the world? People do not want to hear the real gospel, it’s too boring. We want to get pleasure and get kicks. The pandemia is not a rating riser but a real threat to humanity.

But you can escape all this and then put your trust in God. That’s the real holy purpose in calamity to humble us and God will bless us when we learn to say thanks and get off our high horse. So why don’t you turn to God today and count yourself safe! There’s still time, but not indefinite for ever. May heed and pray and put your trust in God. Amen.

    Love
