Historical, biblical timeline
In my biblical, historical timeline I stopped two days ago when Saul comes upon the scene. Saul was a Jewish man who was a part of the Jewish community who were persecuting these new Jewish followers of Christ. He was involved in the stoning death of Stephen a follower of Christ.
Saul had a miraculous meeting with the Lord on the road to Damascus and his life was completely changed and his name was changed to Paul. The Paul that those of us who reads the bible knows and loves. He was told by God to go to the Gentiles…be the apostle to the Gentiles, share the good news of Christ’s death, buriel and resurrection with Gentiles. As he began this ministry, the church age begun…the church the Body of Christ….thus the age of Grace began.
The timeline continues through the age of Grace to the rapture, then the times of tribulation and then the Millenial kingdom and then eternity. There is much I could say about these era’s in history, but since this is just an overview I will leave it as I have written it.
