How Glorious is God really…?

We mustn’t be in the dark of how totally glorious God is essence. God has created all things and everything to his praise and glory. God told Pharaoe that he, God, had created him for own glory and purpose. And the bible tells that God hardened Pharaohs heart and so he would not listen to Moses.

We want to get around this but we can read what the bible tells. Another common stumble is the question, “Does God bring bad things to even ‘good’ people.?” And we stumble because what the Devil hates more about God is that God doeses what ever God pleases. We just can’t accept that in human terms.

Most of the problem is that we don’t want to believe that good God would send a good person like mysef to hell and eternal misery. It’s common for humans to deal with problems with denial. We deny there’s a problem with our destiny and we create the syndrome of a good God who would not loose his temper and do

something rash and send some ‘good’ and ‘holy’ people to hell. Let take a look a Amos 3, where God opens this subject. Its says,

["... 1Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

2You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

4Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

5Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?

6Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? ...]

God tells when the gospel is blown in the city or comes to your home, you should be afraid. And God says that if there’s evil in a city and the LORD hath not done it? Yes we should fear because God is serious with the evil the gospel proclaims for those who will not believe and go in ‘good’ God denial.

So fact is that the beginning of wisdom is to fear God and take him seriously today and not tommorrow. I pray you heed what I say and awaken from your death. May you be blessed. Amen.
