Is the bible revalent in today's world…?
In this the Lord’s day we turn back to Genesis and put God ahead of the table once again where he should and does take his place. Thank you brother for contacting me, I really like to talk to someone today. You ask a very good question and its a tracedental issue that involves some many other question some people ask about God. One of the most popular is the one that the world and universe where or started by itself by chance and ‘good’ probably and
even luck if we venture that far. The creation is negated and the evolution theory is the popular idea people like to entertain, a world without a creator and or designer.
Taking things in an other direction, we turn to Genesis 1:1-5,
["...1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day...]
God established himself as the creator of heaven and earth and that means everything. And this doesn’t mean only the physical but everything spirititual. When a new soul or person is conceived in the womb, God out his own resourced gives it a spirit which he has created and given it its abilities, limits and characteristics. We turn to Gen. 5:3,
["... 3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:..]
After creation Adam begat children in his own image and not the image of God. And imperfect mold set the pattern for all the imperfect mold like you and me in the word. We turn to Job 15:14
["...14What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?...]
No no one is clean if he has a woman for a mother. We skip to Job 25:4,
["...4How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?...]
Remember God created the first woman Eve and she was not exempt from what Job says. And perhaps last we turn to Psalm 51:5,
["... 5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me...]
I was shaped in iniquity, and nobody shapens anything but God. This idea of atheist in universities, that biology shapens a fetus in the womb is just another ploy of the devil to get God off the picture. And yes God shaped our iniquity even before we are born. But it was not sin for him because like you said he had a Godly
purpose which is more glorious than the ‘transgression’ if you will. We turn to Romans 11, In this last passage God wants us to remembe 3 things to clarify the most pertinent important issues,
["... 32For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor..]
For first God has to put it lighty has MADE us all unbelievers. Isaiah 6:9.
Second, the wisdom of God is simply glorious and we make it a mistake to judge what God can and cannot do..
Thirdly, to log off, God does not have a teacher, church, or committee to put instruct him on manners and to what waters he should not prod. Who has ascended to heaven and told God what to do?
May you be blessed. Amen.
