I know it’s a day late but like most of you, yesterday was a busy day for me. However, I want to share with the entire world the beautiful poem my sweet daughter wrote for me. Her name is Katie Jean, and she’s my first born. I love her dearly.

Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s that day again
It comes around every year
When we all say we love you
To the women who to us are so dear

To think upon the wonders
And miracles you have wrought
All the things you’ve done
For others without a thought

We never say enough
The things we feel inside
But please know when I think of you
My heart is filled with pride

I’m amazed when I think about
The many things you do
And suddenly I Wish
I had more than just “Thank You”

Thank you for your Love
Your years of selfless giving
Thank you for the hugs and praise
And for always being so forgiving

They say a Mom’s a special Lady
But they don’t know the half
To think of you as a mere mortal
I can’t help but laugh

You are an Angel, A saint, A Super Hero
A being Rare and Wondrous
I can’t begin to tell you How I love you
And how my life you’ve blessed
