May God Give Us Success in All We Do

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:17 NIV).

God establishes the work of our hands by giving us gifts that will make a difference in the lives of others. That’s what success is—being what God meant for you to be. Jesus said, “My purpose is to give [you] a rich and satisfying life” (John 10:10 NLT).

You may be thinking, “Well, Rick, what about work that needs to be done but doesn’t express my gifts; it just has to be done?” Any homemaker knows exactly what I’m talking about. I would say to you that every job, even the one you are suited for, has mundane parts. Every job has some parts to it that you won’t like, but you can still worship God through those parts of the job.

And I would suggest you adopt this attitude: “Maybe this job that I’m in right now is a phase of my life and I’m not going to be here the rest of my life. But this is where I am for now; therefore, I will worship God right now.” The apostle Paul says, “Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering” (Romans 12:1 MSG).

“Lord our God, may your blessings be with us. Give us success in all we do!” (Psalm 90:17 TEV).

Sometimes I feel I’m wasting my life doing mundane things and ministering to those I would rather not. But that’s where the real test of application is- doing what you don’t want to do to the person who you would rather avoid.

I don’t like this test. But that where I have to really use my gift of patience, like if I have any, but then if I don’t, I have to resort to my sure gift of prayer and let God take the matter from there. Keep up the good work and good blogs.

Please pray for this site. I’m so blessed by its blog topics. But God does helps us in our weakness. In examining myself with a relation with someone I don’t like and it’s a family member…

Well God took his time but he answered my prayer very slowly, but he began to show me the gall of the person in question…And it was like a big pit in the ground I couldn’t jump…

God told me to go around the gall of this person and to not try to make an attempt to correct this person…the pit is to long…do not waste time…the pit is too deep…

I had a concrete mental picture of the person…as a pit. Then God showed me the gap between me and me ever loving this person and how the devil had created this gap by making me weak and making this person do the most obnoxious thigs I happen to abhor…

But once I saw the gap as measurable dimention…I made a commitment to look intently and really concentrate on how to close the gap by a micron a day…

God says that we don’t fight against flesh and blood, but against devils. Ephesians 6:12. And in this 4th of July. I have my plan on my scope and know the the battle will turn my way with Jesus. I’ve seen

the gall and I seen the gap. I know the sleep confidently that sooner or later I will love this person and perhaps save this person if God permits. …My eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the

Lord…Yep! I’ve seen God’s glory in this matter. I will love this person whether he likes it or not! Praise God! Hallelujah!
