Two years after the publication of The Pursuit of God, A.W. Tozer authored a prequel entitled The Divine Conquest and The Pursuit of Man. WingSpread Publishers released it as God’s Pursuit of Man clearly capturing the author’s original intent in writing the book.
Aiden Wilson Tozer preferred to be known as A. W. Tozer (1897-1963). His conversion to Christianity transpired when he overheard a street preacher saying, “If you don’t know how to be saved. . . just call on God!” He followed what he heard and became a believer himself.
A. W. Tozer is an American Christian preacher, pastor, magazine editor, author, conference speaker, and spiritual mentor. His works are still in print and over 60 books are widely circulated across the globe.
