Urgent Prayer Request for the Philippines and other countries affected by Japan 8.9 earthquake

Please join us in praying for those affected by the Japan earthquake and tsunami. Please also pray for the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, New Zealand, West Coast United States, etc. With the Tsunami expected to affect these countries in its path, let us pray for God’s divine sovereignty over the situation. We are asking now for a miracle that this tsunami will die down and not touch our lands and seas but the strength within whatever God allows to happen. So let us also pray for guidance and protection and the resolve to handle whatever comes our way.

During this time of turmoil for millions of God’s children, we think of  Psalm 46 which can be found below:
God is our refuge and strength,
An ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
And the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Though its waters roar and foam
And the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make
glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
He lifts his voice, the earth melts.

The LORD Almighty is with us;
The God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see the works of the LORD,
The desolations He has brought on the earth,
He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth,
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear,
He burns the shields with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

The LORD Almighty is with us;

The God of Jacob is our fortress.

Let us all pray together:

Our Heavenly Father, have mercy on us. We fervently pray that our family, our city, our nation will be spared from this devastation. Save us from further calamities by embracing our family, city, and nation with your protective grace and merciful blessings. Cover us all with the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
