We all have memories of our childhood implanted firmly in our hearts even as we grew up. More often than not, childhood experiences mold our identity and character compelling us to keep on pressing on and reach for our dreams.
Poet, entrepreneur, intuitive life coach, artist, and author Lyn Murray releases a family-oriented, child-centered book entitled Little Book of Memories Vol. 1 comprising of four (4) stories: My Neighbor’s Tree, Night Train, Roses for Sarah, and Broken Kitty.
The first story is about a short, ten-year-old girl encountering an elderly neighbor who taught her the importance of faith through planting and tending a dead tree. The second story, The Night Train, is about an adopted eleven-year-old embarking on a perilous journey to find his biological parents. Another story, Roses for Sarah, is a story of Sarah becoming ill and the community in a concerted effort extended love to her. And lastly, Broken Kitty, revolves around a little cat being born different than the other kittens.
Little Book of Memories is the product of Lyn Murray’s experiences and learnings since childhood. Though considered as fiction, the stories themselves are based on true life characters and situations carefully crafted to teach biblical family values, love, laughter, and triumph over sorrow, defeat, and hopelessness.

Being a single parent of four (4) kids, waking up at 2AM, selling newspapers 24/7, cleaning houses and toilets, scavenging the roads for cans, and being turned down by a publisher is quite a tiring ordeal. However, once Lyn meant a man who believed in her, she persevered in her writings and drawings and became a published author.
Little Book of Memories is an excellent story-telling or bedtime resource for your own kids or those in Sunday school. It’s about time to drop children’s story books with vampires, warlocks, wizards and other occultic themes.
